The franciacorta Veritas Franciacorta DOCG Brut Nature from the winery Bonfadini has been rated in 2024 by Simon Staffler, Othmar Kiem with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Franciacorta in Italy.
Bright straw yellow with a delicate mousse. Smells slightly oxidised on the nose, of quince, iodine and hazelnut, with an open-hearted finish and notes of roasted plums. Little mousse on the palate, very restrained, slightly sharp acidity, somewhat washed out and rough on the finish.
