Tasting from 01.04.2026: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright, rich ruby red. Appealing, earthy notes on the nose, dried violets, lavender syrup and rose petal, with fine spicy notes, reminiscent of candle wax and incense on the finish. On the palate, still with a noticeable use of wood that envelops the juicy fruit, tightly woven, with dark berry fruit and a fine salty finish. Should and may still mature, with good prospects.
