The red wine Tre Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Brancaia has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 87 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Very rich, dark ruby red. Restrained, savoury nose of very ripe plums and cherries, somewhat reminiscent of shoe polish. Very fresh on the palate with superficial acidity, spills over to drying tannins at the back, then considerably slowing down on the finish.
