The red wine Riflessi d’Epoca, vintage 2015 from the winery Brivio Vini has been rated in 2017 by Martin Kilchmann with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
Deep red, with an inviting, cool nose of sour cherries, milk chocolate and ivy. The full-bodied palate has a fresh attack, driven by a tannin structure that's still a little grippy and bitter. Juicy, crisp acidity leads to a good finish. An honest, unadorned Merlot that can age. Riflessi d'Epoca has become reliable value in recent years thanks to Brivio's winemaker Fredi De Martin.
