The red wine Honoris Causa Rosso Riserva Sicilia DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Brugnano has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Nero d’Avola, Syrah from the region Sicily in Italy.
Deep, dark ruby with a black core. Opens on the nose with notes of chestnut honey, blueberries and a touch of resin. Ripe, vivid fruit initially on the palate and very supple, then more coarse with slightly drying tannins on the finish.
