Rich, dark ruby; compact nose, appears calm, fine mineral notes, then lots of plum and ripe cherry, cinnamon; warm and round on the palate, full-bodied, pithy tannin, underlaid with mineral notes, salty, unfortunately the alcohol is a little strong on the finish.
