The red wine Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Casina di Doro DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Canneto has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
An intense, bright ruby red colour. It has a spicy and balsamic nose of undergrowth, and wild mushroom, with some reminiscences of blackberry, dried tomato, and leather, it seems multi-layered. On the palate it opens smoothly with finely woven tannins, evolving elegantly on the back palate. It is full-bodied, with a firm drive on the finish.
