The red wine Albesani Barbaeresco DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Cantina del Pino has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Sweet cherry and tree resin, pine needles, wilted rose, fragrant. Fine-grained, not excessively astringent, but nevertheless typical for Nebbiolo tannins, well-integrated acidity, kept in a rather light style, characteristic of the vintage, but still with some length and, above all, with a great deal of elegance. A good food wine.
