The prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut, vintage 2021 from the winery Cantina Pietrovecchio has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 86 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Glera from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright, pale straw yellow, delicate mousse. A little cloudy on the nose, pronounced ripe notes of baked apple and overripe pears. Unfortunately also distinctly overripe on the palate, somewhat unexciting and lacking tension, with a pronounced bitter note on the finish.
