The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Cantina Ripoli has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Chianti in Italy.
Rich, deep ruby. Beautifully elaborated ripe fruit, full of dark cherries and blackberries, some strawberry yogurt in the background. Grippy tannins on the palate, characterises the wine, the fruit unfortunately remains in the background, quite brittle on the finish.
