The red wine Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG, vintage 2013 from the winery Caparzo has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, rich ruby red. Spicy nose with some malty notes, rich plum, milk chocolate, butterscotch. Deep and dark on the palate, expands with a fruity body, then harsh tannins and thus loosely knit, drying on the finish.
