The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Caparzo has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red. Slightly flowery on the nose, violets, then citrus accents of oranges and lemons, however, develops in the glass and opens after some time on red berry nuances paired with noble savouriness. Shows up on the palate with fine polish, elegant cranberry fruit, has many layers and great drive, seems very balanced, gripping tannin on the finish.
