The red wine Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, vintage 2014 from the winery Caprili has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Dark ruby red colour. Very rich nose of ripe plums and Amarena cherries, pepper, cardamom and black olives. Clear and juicy palate, opens wide with elegant fruit, long structure, velvety texture paired with slightly scratchy tannins, long finish.
