The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Carlo Revello & Figli has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brown to shimmering garnet red. Opens somewhat tentatively, but then lots of savouriness, clove, pepper and ripe plum fruit, also a hint of cocoa beans. Shows a dense structure on the palate, quite youthful, but tightly woven tannins, with good grip and backbone, again powerful on the finish, still needs to mature!
