Intense dark ruby red colour with light brightening on the rim. Compact nose, lots of plums, blueberry and Mediterranean herbs. Lots of juice on the palate, fine-grained, ripe tannins, lively acidity, drops a bit in the middle, medium-long finish.

Dark, sinister ruby red. A nose of cranberry confit, underbrush, resin, coffee grounds and old wood; lots of earthy tones in the finish. On the palate dark, inky fruit, wrapped in loosely knit tannin, plus lots of earthy tones; a wine from another time.
