The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione Gaudio, vintage 2013 from the winery Carus has been rated in 2017 by Othmar Kiem with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Brilliant ruby. Intense nose with notes of raspberries and cherries, very clear. Lots of sweet, melting fruit on the palate, coated in fine-meshed tannins, spans a wide arc, nice pressure in the finish, hearty.
