The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Casaloste has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Powerful ruby. Opens with slightly resinous notes of cedar, then ripe cherry. On the palate a little brittle, fine cherry in the mid-section, then, however, also harsh tannin, still needs storage.
