Tasting from 22.10.2020: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Rich, intense ruby red. Smells hearty on the nose of ripe cherries, slightly balsamic, black pepper and ripe fruit. Bright palate, opening up to beautiful ripe crisp fruit, gripping, polished tannins and a long finish. Best to decant before serving.

Rich, intense ruby red. Hearty aromas of grapefruit cordial, raspberries and wild strawberries with hints of light pepper. Focused fruit forward palate, beautifully generous and smooth with a creamy texture well balanced against the grippy tannin. Already drinking well but would benefit from further bottle ageing.
