The white wine Kreuzweg Family Reserve Chardonnay Riserva Südtirol DOC, vintage 2021 from the winery Castelfeder has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Intense light gold colour, rich and bright. Elegant reduction on the nose, wet stone, slight hints of nettle, wood, ripe yellow fruit, with subtle savoury traces on the finish. Very juicy on the palate, with an equally elegant spicy note, good drive, some wood still noticeable at the moment.
