Clear, intense ruby purple colour. Presents itself in the nose with notes of ripe elderberries and plums, background with fine sandalwood. Juicy and full-bodied on the attack and on the palate, with lots of crisp berry fruit, grippy, fine-meshed tannins, very long finish, subtle tobacco flavours, straightforward and clear.
