Deep dark ruby garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Fine cassis, light notes of nougat, pleasant touch of precious wood, a hint of liquorice, multi-layered bouquet. Full-bodied, silky and sweet, ripe figs, round, firm tannins, chocolaty finish, enormous power and length, delicately savoury aftertaste, certain ageing potential for decades.
