The red wine Barbaresco DOCG, vintage 2022 from the winery Ceretto has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright, medium intensity ruby colour. Opens with notes of raspberry and strawberry, some pomegranate, coffee grounds and hazelnuts in the background. Juicy on the attack and on the palate, shows beautiful ripe berry fruit, follows through nicely, then noticeable tannin on the finish, salty.
