The merest hint of vanilla insinuates itself on the creamy nose that has overtones of shortbread. The palate comes with beautiful concentration, a certain statuesque sleekness and vividly fresh but very fine mousse. There is a lovely briskness at its core, softened by gentle autolysis and beautiful, chalky depth. This has stature and exquisite balance.
