A hint of melted butter and fresh, buttery shortcrust appear on the nose immediately, more air reveals the merest hint of oyster shell. They also weave their way through the fresh, bright, vivid palate. Roundness and fruit characterise the midpalate and the finish is just as generous and rounded with fine freshness, as befits the vintage.
