The red wine Le Carillon d'Angelus, vintage 2016 from the winery Château Angelus has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region St. Emilion in France.
Deep dark ruby, firm core, purple reflections and delicate brightening on the rim. Fine ripe plum fruit on the nose, blackberry fruit, delicately floral with candied orange zest and some nougat. Complex and juicy, ripe dark berry fruit, vivid, plump tannins and long with chocolaty touch on the finish. Showing good signs of development, but has certain ageing potential.
