Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, purple reflections, opaque core, brightening on the rim. Inviting sweet berry fruit, ripe cherries and fresh figs, hints of coconut, cloves and vanilla, a little nougat in the background and a hint of fine oak. Juicy and deep with sweet cherries, fine tannins, mineral, good freshness. Salty on the finish, with a hint of nougat; a recommended food companion with certain ageing potential.
