Tasting Notes
Dark ruby garnet colour with purple reflections, delicate ochre rim. Subtle notes of nougat, orange zest, light ethereal nuances, ripe plum in the background. Medium complexity, somewhat loosely knit, subtle sweetness, a hint of milk chocolate on the finish, somewhat oxidative aftertaste, an unusual style. Presented much better en primeur, the future remains to be seen.
More about the tastingDeep garnet, with purple reflections on the narrow rim. Fresh red cherries, delicate herbal savouriness with notes of rosemary, lemon balm and blackcurrants. Complex, taut, a whisper of nougat, a touch of toasty aromas, red berry nuances on the finish, subtle fruit sweetness lingers nicely. Fresh and taut, will benefit from further ageing.
