Tasting Notes
Dark ruby-garnet in colour with purple reflections and a subtle edge brightening. The nose shows smoky-roasted cherry fruit, hints of liquorice and orange zest, with tobacco nuances in the background. Juicy and lively on the palate with an elegant body, fine cherry fruit, pleasant tannins and fresh structure. The finish has a red berry aftertaste and good length, with a touch of nougat amongst the pronounced fruit. Certain ageing potential.
