Very dark ruby-garnet in colour, with purple reflections. The nose shows delicate notes of liquorice and grapefruit, with some roasted aromas and some nougat. The palate develops elegant, powerful tannins and a fresh acid structure, to the extent that it appears somewhat monstrous with excellent length. A Vin de Garde.
