The red wine Les Pensées (de Lafleur), vintage 2023 from the winery Château Lafleur has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Pomerol in France.
Dark ruby, purple reflections, brightening on the edge. Fine cloves, ripe red cherries, lilac, mineral, clearly floral bouquet with a high Merlot content, fresh orange zest. Complex, juicy, elegant texture, has depth, some nougat, dark minerality, firm tannins in the finish, very good length, salty aftertaste. Almost chalky in the echo, a spicy food wine.
