The red wine Cahors AOC Expression, vintage 2007 from the winery Château Lamartine has been rated in 2011 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Malbec from the region South West France in France.
Deep dark, almost black ruby garnet, opaque core, intense violet reflections, no rim brightening. Black berries on the nose, intense ethereal notes, delicate eucalyptus, crème de cassis, chocolaty nuances, a hint of grapefruit zest. Full-bodied, powerful, New World style, very well-integrated tannins, black berries, extract-sweet finish, lingers well, fresh aftertaste, good development potential, black berry fruit also in the aftertaste.
