The red wine Château Moulin Riche, vintage 2016 from the winery Château Léoville Poyferré has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region St. Julien in France.
Dark ruby, with purple reflections, and a discreet bright rim. Lovely fine oak spiciness, with delicate hints of cassis and liquorice, and a touch of blackberry confit, it is an inviting bouquet. Juicy, elegant, with some minerality, ripe cherry flavours, spicy tannins, a salty fresh finish, as well as some nougat, and a lemony touch on the aftertaste.
