Tasting Notes
Dark carmine garnet in colour with an ochre rim and watery edge. there's an inviting sweetness on the nose, with dark berries and fine chocolate allied to mint and juicy cassis - a multi-faceted bouquet. Complex on the palate, with very well integrated but still vivid tannins which are clearly evident on the finish and help to dry it out slightly. It lacks a little of the final fruit, but remains a good food companion in a rather monolithic style.
