A balsamic note in the ripe fruit aromas. Black cherry, forest honey, some new wood and herbs. On the palate the wine has a bold construction, the alcohol is barely countered by extract, the tannin is dense and seems ripe. However, the deep alcohol gives the wine direction - this is a kind of Amarone from Bordeaux.
