Tasting Notes

96 - 98
Tasting from 01.01.2023: Peter Moser

Deep, dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtly brighter at the rim. Floral, inviting fresh sweet cherry, a touch of currants, fine herbal savouriness, tobacco, Cabernet Franc nuances, some blueberry. Taut, tightly meshed, minerality underpinning red cherry fruit. The wine has a lively acid structure, is salty and clinging, with ripe, taut tannins and a very good balance. A great food companion, lemony nuances in the finish, definite ageing potential.
