Dark ruby with purple reflections and delicate edge brightening. Attractive aromas of dark-berry confit, some nougat, fine balsamic touches and a hint of pipe tobacco. Juicy and round with a powerful texture and good fruit, it has subtle acidity and a lingering chocolaty finish. Somewhat too alcoholic style, however.
