Rich, deep, dark ruby-garnet color. Opens on the nose with rich notes of cigars and cedar wood, ripe plums and cassis, with some leather in the background. Full-bodied and gripping on the palate, shows lots of present cassis fruit, opens up with fine, very integrated tannins, spans a wide arc, a little sandy on the finish.
