The red wine Vigna Scopaio 339 Bolgheri Rosso DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Cipriana has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep dark ruby. Very savoury nose of precious wood, toast, coffee powder, delicate malt, reminiscent of pickled cherries, blackberries on the finish. On the palate with a lot of substance and dark, deep fruit, opens up in many layers, but currently still shows a clear wood overhang, drying in the aftertaste, should definitely rest a little longer.
