Powerful, rich ruby red with a slightly brightening rim. Multi-layered nose of ripe blackberries, cassis, some leather spice and elegant earthy tones on the finish, inviting. Full-bodied and structured on the palate, complex, displaying taut acidity with tightly woven tannin, long finish.
