The red wine Fleurie »La Dot«, vintage 2010 from the winery Clos de Mez has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tintorera from the region Fleurie in France.
Clos de Mez is the vineyard of Marie-Elodie Zighera, the wife of Jean Pierre Confuron from Vosne-Romanée. Dark colour, wild berries, thyme, a hint of floral notes, still seems almost closed. Taut tannins on the palate, fleshy, grainy, with mineral accompaniment, defensive yet light juiciness, substance and drive and a completely youthful impression, taut tannins, respectful and dense, will mature for a long time. Long, macerating fruity finish.
