The red wine Com Tu Monsant DO, vintage 2019 from the winery Clos Mogador has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser, Ulrich Sautter, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 95 Falstaff points.
Deep ruby in colour with purple reflections and a subtle brightening on the ochre rim. An attractive Grenache nose of ripe black cherry, blackberry confit and dried herbs with a hint of minerality. The juicy palate is powerful and complex, with ripe tannins, fine fruit expression, carried by good freshness on a lingering mineral finish. A fine savoury food wine with the potential for further ageing.
