Deep ruby with purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Underlaid with subtle herbal savouriness red cherry fruit, a hint of fresh fig, delicate liquorice and tangerine zest with vanilla and nougat emerging as the wine opens up. Powerful and complex on the palate with fine fruit sweetness, ripe plum, vivid, ripe tannins, long and mineral on the finish with some roasted aromas. This will age for decades.
