The red wine ColleMassari Montecucco Rosso Riserva DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery ColleMassari has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Very rich, dark ruby red. Fine woody savouriness and ripe raspberries on the nose, cherries, forest fruits, some liquorice on the finish. Spreads out nicely on the palate, juicy and clear, grippy tannins through to the finish, delicate aftertaste.
