The red wine Montefalco Rosso DOC, vintage 2015 from the winery Còlpetrone - Tenute del Cerro has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Merlot from the region Umbria in Italy.
Rich, dark ruby. Intense and vivid nose, shows notes of wild raspberry, blackberry and chestnut honey. Hearty and gripping on the approach, shows beautiful ripe berry fruit, then a lot of grippy tannin, dries a little on the finish.
