Wild strawberry, raspberry, sloe, a hint of herbs, overtones of cinnamon, clove, smoke. Restrained, grainy tannins in medium quantities, well-integrated acidity. Round and slightly viscous with a delicately bitter aftertaste of candy floss. Quiet authentic substance and pronounced chalky minerality. Planted ungrafted in 1982.
