Rich, deep dark ruby purple, black core. Intense and compact nose, with lots of oak, rich dark currant, some molasses and spicy cedar. Round and supple on the palate, showing lots of sweet, dark berry fruit, finely meshed tannin, juicy, lingers long, unfortunately lots of oak overhang on the finish.
