The white wine Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumées, vintage 2018 from the winery Domaine Bruno Colin has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Bourgogne in France.
Closed on the nose with floral undertones, sesame, hazelnut and hints of minerality. Very round and linear on the palate - there's lots of texture, but no breadth yet. Rich and supple with style, with the rather discreet acidity supported by slightly grippy phenolics and thickens a touch on the finish. A refined structure with certain ageing potential.
