Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet, broad watery rim, brighter around the edges. A clear hint of age on the nose, delicately madeirized, old chocolate, some polish, intense tobacco notes, more and more nougat and orange peel with air. Sweet and complex on the palate, fine nutty aromas, pleasant chocolate touch, some dried fruit, fresh texture, lemony nuances, a rather full-bodied wine with good sweetness, but already a little unfresh. To make the most of this wine, you have to decant it a day in advance because it is extremely closed. Whether this wine represents its terroir remains a debatable question.
