The red wine Domaine de Chevalier Rouge, vintage 1986 from the winery Domaine de Chevalier has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 85 Falstaff points.
Strong carmine, broad ochre rim. Black berryish fruit with smoky and nutty undertones, tobacco nuances, candied orange zest. Delicate, subtly earthy tannins, a hint of cherries, loosely-knit and mature appearance, rather short finish, has already lost its vitality, should be consumed very soon.
