Dark ruby, purple reflections, discreet ochre rim. Fine herbal savouriness, nuances of liquorice, cassis and olive, delicate dried plum and fig, with a hint of nougat. Deep, chocolatey-spicy core, subtle acidity, fruity in the finish with some black cherry, has good but not great length, has gained well over the years, a versatile food wine with a salty aftertaste.
